Sometimes we use web-based FTP services but FileZilla is free, fast, secure, and has a great user-friendly interface. If the application asks you to authenticate for each file you transfer, open the Site Manager before you log in again and use the Transfer Settings tab to limit the number of simultaneous connections to one (1). Weve found it to be a very reliable and secure FTP/SFTP tool. At that point, you can execute your file transfers using typical Windows commands and tools. Your screen will display the contents of your local system (left) and the remote home directory (right).
